45th Annual Gran Torneo de Pesca Deportiva “Nuestra Señora del Carmen – AAA Reels in Second Place!

The waters off Playa del Carmen were alive with excitement last Sunday as nearly 40 boats competed in the 45th Annual Gran Torneo de Pesca Deportiva “Nuestra Señora del Carmen,” one of the Riviera Maya’s most anticipated sporting traditions.
Among this year’s standout competitors was AAA Charters & Adventures, whose Captain Juan Carlos and crew earned an impressive Second Place, taking home the tournament trophy and a $100,000 MXN prize.
The annual tournament, held as part of the city’s celebrations honoring Nuestra Señora del Carmen, brings together local captains, sport fishermen, families, and visitors for a day that celebrates both competitive fishing and Playa del Carmen’s rich maritime heritage.
